We are fortunate to have in the Parishes of North Cadbury and Yarlington an extensive network of footpaths, bridle paths, green lanes and rights of way, arguably a greater length of paths open to the public than in any other Somerset Parish.
We hope in future to include in this web site maps showing where all the paths are, but, because of the high cost of obtaining a licence to use part of the Ordnance Survey map, this may take a little time. In the mean time please consult the 1:25,000
Explorer Map, sheet 129 Yeovil and Sherborne.
A volunteer group FOOTPATHS 4 US is working alongside the South Somerset District Council Countryside Rangers to keep the
paths open for all to enjoy. They would be delighted if you would like to join them - please contact Peter Keenlyside on 01963 435084.
Susan Fone is the volunteer Parish Footpath Warden. She would like to hear about any broken stiles or gates, impassable places or broken signs. Phone No - 01963 441122.
